Welcome the Outer Harbour Sailing Federation. The Outer Harbour Sailing Federation (OHSF) consists of eight member clubs located on the north shore of Lake Ontario, in the Outer Harbour of Toronto.

For over 30 years the OHSF has represented eight community water-sport clubs offering a wide range of boating, windsurfing, kayaking, canoing and rowing facilities at a fraction of the cost of membership at a conventional yacht club. The OHSF community water-sports clubs are operated as not-for-profit community clubs where costs are kept low due to a volunteer and teamwork strategy.

Successful, Expanded Summer Youth Sailing and Rowing Program Right Here in the Outer Harbour

The video above is of youth in the free rowing course provided last summer by Hanlan Boat Club as part of the youth outreach program of the Outer Harbour Sailing Federation. In 2011 the OHSF offered an expanded Youth Water Sports program of rowing and sailing for youth who otherwise could not afford to try the sports, after a small pilot program the year before. In July and August, youth between thirteen and seventeen came from a variety of agencies and centres for week long programs made possible by volunteer effort and financial contributions from the OHSF member clubs.
